The eyes of the nation have turned to South Dakota, as Gov. Kristi Noem is considered a top contender to become presidential candidate Donald Trump’s running mate.
The governor, a favorite in national conservative political circles, met with the former president Monday in a private meeting at his Mar-a-Lago residence. 24 hours later, Noem discussed the meeting, what the state would look like should Trump tap her to run with him, and what the former president might be looking for his next vice president.
