U.S. Senator hires head of South Dakota AFP to lead tribal relations, Sioux Falls office
Hiring marks second stint on Mike Rounds' staff for Keith Moore
South Dakota’s junior senator continues to reshuffle staff in his office, and has tapped a long-time political operative to lead operations in his Sioux Falls office.
Keith Moore, State Director of Americans for Prosperity (AFP), will be Sen. Mike Rounds’ new Southeast Regional Director for South Dakota and the state director of Tribal Relations for his office, the senator’s office announced Wednesday.
“Keith is a committed and respected public servant who will be a great asset to our team,” Rounds said in a statement. “His years of experience, both in South Dakota and in D.C., will serve our state well.”
Moore has led AFP-South Dakota since late 2021. Prior to that, Moore served as the director of South Dakota’s chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
