A solar geoengineering company with ties to South Dakota is the subject of a probe into weather modification practices by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Make Sunsets Inc., a startup that lists a Box Elder address in its filings with the federal government, is under investigation by the agency for potential violations of the Clean Air Act. And on Tuesday, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin publicly accused the company of contaminating the environment by releasing sulfur dioxide particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect sunlight and lower global temperatures.
