Thomason, the first to announce a bid for Sioux Falls City Council in the 2024 municipal election, raised an additional $23,300 in the most recent reporting period, leading the field of three in the election’s lone citywide contest. His latest disclosure brings his total campaign contributions to just under $33,500.
The former legislator received support from some of his former colleagues at the state Capitol, including Rep. Greg Jamison and former state Sen. Wayne Steinhauer, as well as Sioux Falls entrepreneur Craig Lloyd and City Councilor Sarah Cole.
