Summit Carbon Solutions submits new application for pipeline after North Dakota rejection
Carbon sequestration company reroutes pipeline in new filing
Summit Carbon Solutions is making another run at a construction permit in North Dakota after the state’s Public Service Commission rejected its application earlier this month.
Summit announced Saturday it had submitted a Petition for Reconsideration for its pipeline permit application that alters the route of the carbon sequestration pipeline set to run through North Dakota.
“Addressing the concerns of the ND PSC is a top priority for us, and we've worked diligently to revise our application accordingly. Our aim is to work collaboratively, listen to everyone's input, and align our project with the long-term vision that North Dakota has for its energy and agricultural sectors,” Summit Carbon Solutions CEO Lee Blank said. “We are confident that our efforts will contribute positively to North Dakota's future, and we're excited to be part of this journey.”
