Trump could have testified under oath and said all the things that he only proclaims in front of television cameras and microphones. His only priority seems to be his own skin . Trump was found guilty by the jury. Biden nor the judge found him guilty. He is appealing. Does the rule of law mean nothing to the Republican Party.? Is it ok with them that he paid off a porn star to help him get elected President? These comments by our elected officials are disappointing.

Trying to hijack and misdirect (spin) the conversation away from their candidate having committed adultery, paying her money to cover it up so it wouldn't become public and prevent his election, and FRAUDULENTLY mislabeling the money he paid her as other than what it was. Have I misstated anything so far? Are you really going to contend that any of this did not happen? Were the 12 jurors duped?
Instead of saying Whoa...that was disgusting, but let's own it, the battle cry has become "rigged" and "politically motivated" and "The Democrats and Biden did it. Has Biden be shown to have been in any way directly or indirectly involved? What was "rigged"? Don't just make the accusation; tell us what was "rigged". Tell us the details of what Biden did and when he did it.
I think there are some interesting legal questions that arose during the trial and those will properly be addressed on appeal. In your zeal to back your candidate however, you should not elevate your biased suspicions into unequivocal statements of fact and truth (so as to mislead the public like Trump did) nor should you sacrifice the dignity of the constitutions you swore to uphold for the sake of political advantage.
