A group working to build 25 tiny houses for homeless veterans in Sioux Falls won’t meet construction deadlines it promised when it accepted nearly $1 million worth of assistance from City Hall.
But with broad support for the Veterans Community Project among the Sioux Falls community, officials with both the nonprofit organization and the city are working to give contractors more time to create transitional housing and a support center for struggling military veterans in the heart of the city.
