Third round of workforce recruitment campaign pushes cost of initiative to $9 million since June
Gov. Kristi Noem’s office has now dedicated $9 million to a national workforce recruitment campaign that’s been on airwaves since last summer.
The South Dakota governor and her Office of Economic Development announced Monday the third round of the Freedom Works Here marketing blitz that portrays Noem working in high-demand jobs has begun — this time featuring the 52-year-old Republican as a carpenter.
