If there were a god of justice, Noem should pay the $300k settlement to the Transformation Project. She should also pay the attorney fees to the firm engaged to represent her. Finally, and perhaps most importantly of all, she should be forced to have a very official, very public signing of her personal apology to the Project. For that matter, she should sell some of her gun collection and use the proceeds to compensate Joan Adam, who clearly lost her job only because of Noem's reprehensible executive decisions. This is just another example of a woman whose lust for power has run amok.
The real problem with your governor is that she doesn't have the decency or courage to step up and sign the apology herself. Using a surrogate to sign is cowardly, selfish and disgraceful. If you can come up with some rational explanation for Noem's refusal to accept responsibility, please educate us. Otherwise, I am forced to conclude Kristi Noem continues to represent Kristi Noem. Based on the aggressive "take no prisoners" personality she proudly displays every day, do you really think she would have consented to a settlement had she any plausible legal defense?
