The woman who’s been helping South Dakota navigate a new era of Medicaid expansion is leaving the state Capitol as the program readies for launch.
Sarah Aker, South Dakota’s Medicaid director in the Department of Social Services, is vacating her post to take a similar job in Bismark, The Dakota Scout has confirmed.
