The South Dakota Republican Party’s only full-time staff member has been issued a citation for his role in a physical confrontation that took place at the Republican National Convention in July.
Reggie Rhoden, son of Lt. Gov. Larry Rhoden and executive director of the state party, faces a charge of disorderly conduct in relation to an incident that occurred on July 15 as Republicans from across the nation gathered to officially select Donald Trump as their party’s nominee.
