Sioux Falls video lottery boom has Councilors considering putting cap on new casinos
Sioux Falls officials say it’s time to rein in the video lottery industry amid a boom in the number of casinos opening in South Dakota’s largest city.
But City Councilors who discussed options for gaming regulation reform Tuesday during an informational meeting at Carnegie Town Hall downtown admit the city is at least partly to blame for the recent influx in video lottery machines available in Sioux Falls.
