Sioux Falls mayor warns of $25M budget hit from property tax relief law
TenHaken touts successes in seventh State of the City address

Sioux Falls city government is bracing to lose out on tens of millions of dollars in revenue over the next decade under a property tax relief measure passed by the South Dakota Legislature earlier this year.
That’s according to long-term financial projections compiled by the Sioux Falls Finance Department and unveiled Monday during Mayor Paul TenHaken’s State of the City Address at the Canopy by Hilton in the Steel District.
