Sioux Falls company denies liability in electronic health record dispute
North Carolina Central Piedmont alleges Experity failed contractual obligations
A Sioux Falls company that manages electronic health care records is denying accusations that it bungled its account with a North Carolina urgent care provider.
Experity Inc. – formerly known as DocuTap – says the accusations made by Central Piedmont Urgent Care are baseless, and the company is asking a federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit. That request at this stage in the litigation is unlikely to be granted.
Central Piedmont argues in its complaint that Experity admitted to its faults, but the health record company denies that.
