Sioux Falls caps video lottery locations, reforms 2019 'co-mingling' ordinance
So-called mega casinos spark concern
Get ’em while they’re hot.
The Sioux Falls City Council capped the number of beer and wine licenses eligible for an associated video lottery license within city limits at 186. And with 165 of them already in operation, the City Council’s Tuesday night vote is likely to spark a mad dash among members of the gaming industry to gobble up the remaining 21.
Once they’re gone, the city won’t make any new ones available until it adds another 5,000 people in population.
