In the two weeks since opening at the end of May, Pierre has been abuzz about its new pool. The summer heat has yet to set in, but average daily attendance has been 530 people a day.
“Yes, people are very excited about the new pool,” city spokeswoman Brooke Bohnenkamp said in an email. “It’s been crazy; people are stopping us (city employees) on the street to thank us!”
