Salem hopes to harness growth with new industrial park
A 21-acre project to bring businesses, jobs and families
The Salem Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) announced plans Tuesday for a 21-acre industrial park with the goal of attracting new businesses, jobs and families to the community.
The project is in partnership with the Sioux Metro Growth Alliance (SMGA), an economic development group focused on the Sioux Falls area.
Community stakeholders in Salem raised more than $250,000 for the project, according to Sheldon Jensen, SMGA economic development specialist.
