Governor, attorney general continue talks around taxpayer protection initiatives
South Dakota’s governor and its top law enforcement officer aren’t in agreement about how best to protect taxpayer dollars from abuse within state government.
That’s despite both Gov. Larry Rhoden and Attorney General Marty Jackley vowing to work together as the state responds to a flurry of public corruption scandals involving former state employees.
