PUC approves 10-day discovery turnaround for CO2 pipeline questions
Evidentiary hearing begins Sept. 11
The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission took steps to ensure that permitting-related questions about the Summit Carbon Solutions carbon sequestration pipeline are answered in a timely fashion.
That happened during the commission’s meeting in Pierre on Thursday, April 13.
Ten days is now the turnaround time to answer questions as discovery in permitting process continues.
Summit’s pipeline permit is under consideration by the PUC, which will have an evidentiary hearing beginning Sept. 11. The board intends to make a decision on the permit by Nov. 15.
