Gov. Kristi Noem has a private meeting with the former president in Florida
In the midst of growing speculation and heightened anticipation that she’ll be Donald Trump’s running mate, Gov. Kristi Noem is meeting with the former president and GOP front runner at his Mar-a-Lago home Monday afternoon.
The governor’s office confirmed to The Dakota Scout Monday that the second term Republican extended her out-of-state trip through the weekend after being a keynote speaker at the annual Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) conference in Maryland. She will meet with Trump in a one-on-one meeting at the president’s primary residence. Trump is the anticipated GOP nominee in this year’s presidential election after cruising to victory in the South Carolina Republican primary Saturday. Trump easily defeated Nikki Haley, his last remaining challenger and the former governor of the Palmetto State.
