Noir-Pop maestros The Claudettes are bringing their North American tour to Icon in Sioux Falls on Friday, Sept. 16.
Hailing from Pennsylvania, Michigan, South Dakota, and Minnesota, the quartet successfully creates a unique fusion of contemporary Blues and Soul, sprinkled with the grace and sassiness of Doris Day. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune referred to them as a band “that feels equal parts James Dean and David Lynch.”
Whether you’re a jazz aficionado with a rebellious edge, or a punk with a soft spot for the catchy hooks and melodies so often associated with the psychedelic pop of the 60’s, The Claudettes will deliver a stirring performance that will move your heart and feet.
Opening the show are local Alt. Rock mainstays Pale Norse.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and music begins at 9. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Show attendance is 18+.
