Senate Bill 79 would limit electric bike access on Mickelson Trail if signed
PIERRE — Advocates of preserving the tradition of western South Dakota’s Mickelson Trail scored a major win Wednesday in the South Dakota House.
A measure that would ban class 2 and 3 electric bikes from the 109 mile trail easily cleared its final legislative hurdle, passing the chamber 65-5 on the way to Gov. Larry Rhoden’s desk.
