Mayor TenHaken's top finance officer set to direct second department at Sioux Falls City Hall

The top finance officer for the city of Sioux Falls is the leading candidate to take over another department within city government.

Mayor Paul TenHaken alerted city councilors this week that he will formally nominate Sioux Falls Finance Director Shawn Pritchett to be the next director of the city’s Innovation and Technology Department.

The position was vacated by former director Mike Grigsby in June and has been headed in the interim by Chief of Staff Erica Beck.
