Longtime veteran of Siouxland Libraries retiring after serving eight years as director
Jodi Fick spent four decades working in libraries
The director of Siouxland Libraries will retire in June, the city of Sioux Falls announced Monday morning.
The retirement caps four decades of public service for Jodi Fick. Her last day will be June 20.
“Jodi is a prime example of what it means to have a heart for service. We are grateful for her leadership of Siouxland Libraries and decades of commitment to public service throughout her career,” Mayor Paul TenHaken said in a release. “I consider Jodi not just a colleague but a friend. She has truly made a difference in the lives of kids and families in our region while building a positive culture and environment where her entire Siouxland Libraries team can thrive.”
