Suddenly it's OK to pay a woman less salary than the men who previously held her position because, you know, well, she's just asking too many questions.

Clear & well-said points. Thank you. No one likes being audited-except those who want to know how to improve or correct areas missed. TBH, I’m jealous of the detailed work in Mnha Co....Now if Lincoln County could have the same check-list, and no “drop box on wheels” with chain of custody questions and more, that’d be great.

I have watched as Commissioner Kippley compared Leah Anderson to "Pontias Pilate". Isn't it strange that the person who is trying to do the job the way it is meant to be done is denigrated in an official county meeting? Why would Kippley do such a thing? I'm wondering if Mr. Kippley actually wants the residents of Minnehaha County to know the truth. It seems that all the things that former county auditors in our county claimed couldn't be done with our tabulation equipment actually could be done. They were either lying or ignorant since 2005. Kippley needs to pack his bag and go home. He and others on the commission are an embarrassment to the fine citizens of this county. I will donate my time to assist Leah Anderson in her endeavors to provide us with free, fair, lawful AND transparent elections.

A quick look at Leah Anderson's LinkedIn profile you will see how very qualified she is for this role. She is answering to the residents of Minnehaha County, and that is upsetting to the people that have forgotten who they work for.

You are correct on all points. Leah is serving the people of Minnehaha County, not the commissioners or the retired money man with a blog who promotes ranked choice voting by the voters he thinks are stupid.

Leah Anderson has gone out of her way to bring unprofessionalism to county business. I don't mind giving scrutiny to any election process, but policy and process decisions need to be based on evidence, not uninformed fears and plain political bias. Machines count ballots much more consistently and more quickly than humans, whether or not it fits Anderson's political leanings or those of her supporters. This has been demonstrated in recent South Dakota election recounts. Anderson can believe whatever she wants and she's free to bring on the questions related to security, but any weird behavior and baseless political accusations should anticipate pushback from more sane and rational voices.
