Jackley: state employee created 13 false motor vehicle titles
Bogus titles used to take out bank loans
A now deceased state employee in the Motor Vehicles Division created fake motor vehicle titles that were used to secure bank loans, Attorney General Marty Jackley confirmed Thursday.
The employee, Sandra O’Day, was not named in the Attorney General’s Office announcement. But the Thursday release confirmed a report by The Dakota Scout about her activities as a titling supervisor in the office, which is part of the Department of Revenue.
