Here's who's on the ballot in the Sioux Falls City Council election
Two seats go uncontested while other races bring crowded fields
A Sioux Falls man who has been campaigning to become the city's mayor for nearly a decade will be on the ballot in a district-level city council race.
Meanwhile, two seats in the April 9 contest will go uncontested.
Jennifer Sigette, a candidate for the Northwest District, and Ryan Spellerberg, a candidate for the Southwest District, are headed to the Sioux Falls City Council without an election. Each submitted qualifying signatures before the Friday filing deadline, while no other candidacy filings were received by the city clerk's office by the 5 p.m. Friday deadline.
