Harrisburg, city administrator parting ways
Move comes after City Council executive session meeting
Harrisburg City Administrator Andrew Pietrus is leaving his post in the state’s fastest-growing city, Pietrus and Mayor Derick Wenck confirmed Wednesday.
The departure of Pietrus follows a City Council meeting Tuesday night. Wenck said he couldn’t comment on the reasons behind Pietrus’ departure because the decision had been made in an executive session meeting that was closed to the public. Pietrus had been with the city for nearly 12 years.
“He’s going to be turning in his resignation at 3 p.m.,” Wenck told The Dakota Scout. The city, he added, would be looking for an “immediate replacement.”
