Gov. Noem's latest book endorsed by Trump
"No Going Back" is scheduled to be available for purchase in May
South Dakota’s New York Times bestselling author and governor is making a second run at book writing.
“No Going Back,” slated to come out in May, will offer Gov. Kristi Noem’s take on “what’s wrong with politics and how we move America forward,” the book’s subtitle says.
News of its release became public Wednesday morning when former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social media platform to laud the 52-year-old Republican’s new work.

“A great new book by Governor Kristi Noem, is a hard hitting story of a very interesting life,” Trump wrote.
Noem's first book, an autobiography called “Not My First Rodeo: Lessons from the Heartland” was published in 2022.
“Not Going Back” appears to take a more philosophical approach to her career in politics – a description for the book online says that Noem will “name names” from the “front lines of the battle.”
“Gov. Noem explains how the country is not going back to the Republican Party of the 2000s,” the description says. “And that’s a good thing.”

The book and its endorsement from Trump comes as speculation mounts that she will be the former president’s running mate should he secure the GOP nomination in this year’s presidential election. Noem has indicated that she would “consider” becoming Trump’s running mate if asked.
A spokesman with Noem’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday morning.
Our lives are mere props in a vp hopeful’s book tour. Lovely.
When I first discovered this on Trump's TruthSocial account earlier this morning, I was stunned that Noem hadn't been hawking this literary sequel on all her favorite conservative media outlets. Then it occurred to me that Trump may have jumped the gun and blown out the candles on her cake.
