Bill to temporarily raise THC limits during hemp production heads to governor’s desk
PIERRE — Allowing hemp producers to exceed statutory THC limits during the processing of CBD could bolster South Dakota’s already strong position in the industry.
But a measure headed to Gov. Kristi Noem’s desk aimed at doing that isn’t likely to become law given opposition from her administration and a razor-thin margin of support in the state Senate.
