Gov. Noem creates well-being, health resource office for state employees
Expansion tied to Well-Being Champion initiative hatched in 2022
PIERRE — South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem is establishing a new government office focused on enhancing the quality of life for state employees and their families.
This week, Noem announced the creation of the "Employee Health Office," which will operate under the Bureau of Human Resources and Administration (BHRA).
In a video message sent to state employees, Noem said the new office will consolidate support services to make it easier for employees to access health and well-being resources.
