She seems determined to end her political career alongside the former president. Their warmongering while he discourages a border deal in Congress is disgusting.

FOX must have agreed to broadcast it

If it's such a problem then why are the House GOP members refusing to even consider the bi-partisan border bill from the Senate? Why did they refuse to fund past border protection bills?

They have gotten their 'orders' from Trump not to fix the problem now because he wants to blame Biden for this issue that has been going on for years.

Gov. Noem just wants to get noticed -although her recent appearance on Fox was an embarrassment. She said Texas would never have signed the "treaty to form the constitution" if they thought it would have prevented them from their right to protect themselves and defend their own people. First there was no 'treaty' and second TEXAS did NOT sign the constitution - it wasn't even a state yet! This is the governor fighting to change our history/social studies standards - someone who doesn't know history.

Pass the bi-partisan bill to fund protection to the border Dusty Johnson and stop all this 'war- zone' mis-information.

Let's spend South Dakota money on causes which are most beneficial to justice focused on South Dakota's responsibility.

If you missed Noem on CNN yesterday, find it and watch. Not only is Kristi unresponsive, but also she just won't shut up. Did Corey Lewandowski encourage her to pose——and stridently so——as the country's foremost expert on Constitutional law (both federal and Texas) and immigration law? Evasive as she was, it boils down to her tacitly acknowledging that she will actively support and and even engage in conduct in defiance of the U.S. Supreme Court. That's a lot of chutzpah or a lot of stupid. I'm going with stupid. As long as Donald Trump is her role model and Lewandowski is her advisor, this is all we're going to get from her...ever. I wish she would just leave us and head for one of the NRA's (rifle or rodeo) and take her "god-given" FREEDOM bullshit with her. The alternative is wearing a t-shirt that reads:

KRISTI NOEM IS MY GOVERNOR.

METH, I WISH I WERE ON IT.

A war zone? One side isnt even armed. She should worry about SD and quit trying to interfere with federal matters just to get attention. Or, if she wants to be helpful, work on her former colleagues in the US House to quit playing games and work to get an immigration bill padsed..

Even among Republicans, is there anyone who doesn’t think this is just a photo op? She even views her own party members as props.

Kristi should talk to her buddy Trump and the Republican legislators in D.C. about how big a crisis this is since they’ve decided it’s not important to do anything about it until after the election. Even Lindsay Graham said the bill proposed by the bipartisan group working on it is the best deal on immigration and the border that they could ever get. But they’d rather let it continue to be a “war zone” so they can blame it all on Biden.

I guess “Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free” doesn’t quite define the U.S. anymore. Is it time to pull down the Statue of Liberty? I realize the drug cartels are among the refugees, but would it be an issue if there weren’t so many drug users in this country?

Actually, illegal immigrants are involved in the lowest number of crimes per capita -- which makes sense since they don't want to get sent back. The next is legal immigrants and the most crimes per capita are committed by citizens. The notion that there are a bunch of criminals amongst the refugees is Trump misinformation.

I still do agree we should have control of our borders but the lies about those who have crossed are repulsive.

Our governor should beware of the potential of violating Article 1, Section 10, Paragraph 3 of the US Constitution that retains for the Federal Government the right to declare war.

Kristi can direct our state's National Guard forces but the Fed can withhold funding for any of their activities, supplies, arms, etc.

In addition, I'm guessing Kristi could be arrested for her "war" declarations. Not too bright.

Plus, Trump's demands of Republicans in Congress to not pass the border legislation is treason enough. Do we really need our governor involved in that nonsense?
