Up to 2,000 miles of South Dakota roads could soon be getting centerline rumble strips.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation has announced a roughly $7 million ambition to install the road safety feature that alerts drivers when they’re drifting into the lane of oncoming traffic along nearly every highway in the state.
