I remember at the time that none of the women whose sentence she commuted had been recommended by the parole board for parole or commutation. But she didn't ask them.

Britni's history with meth suggests she has always taken Noem's inane "Meth, We're On It" campaign a bit too literally. Then, too, with Noem constantly bragging about giving her people the FREEDOM to "exercise their personal responsibility to make the best decisions for themselves," how was poor Britni to know meth was not included on the menu? As for Noem's odd decision to "free" Britni––for whom failure to appear was an issue––in the first place, I am willing to bet we're missing something.
