Former DPS Secretary moving to federal post
Price set to take job with federal Department of Transportation
PIERRE – Craig Price bid farewell last week to the Public Safety Cabinet Secretary position.

Price, 50, who left his post heading the Department of Public Safety last week after 26 years in law enforcement, has been tapped by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to be a field administrator. The agency, operating under the U.S. Department of Transportation, exists to prevent commercial motor vehicle-related fatalities and injuries.
