The Mocktails Mixoff mission is to bring public awareness of the importance of celebration options in an effort to encourage local hotspots to put non-alcoholic beverages on their drink menus. The winter Mocktails Mix-off is a family-friendly, all-ages event. The Sioux Empire Fairgrounds will be rumbling this weekend with wild ranching events, shopping, and live music at the annual ranch rodeo. The Rainbow Chorus of Sioux Falls will perform two showings of “A Night on Broadway,” at the First Congregational Church. Rainbow Chorus is South Dakota’s first LGBTQIA2S+ friendly chorus. Their mission is to build an inclusive community and advance LGBTQIA2S+ activism, education, and personal growth through music.

Health Connect of South Dakota has been chosen as a host for the National Library of Medicine’s traveling exhibit “Life & Limb: The toll of the American Civil War,” which focuses on disabled veterans and their role as symbols of the fractured nation. The exhibit documents experiences of injured soldiers during the conflict and in the years afterward.
