The Prohibition Pub is hosting 12 weeks of trivia nights beginning Nov. 15. There also will be drink specials to help coax those answers out of your noggin. But don’t use all those smarts up in one go, there will be a grand prize winner week 12.Â
Veterans Big Band Dance

Ever wanted to learn more than the two-step? The El Riad band will play music suited to swing, ballroom, two step, and Latin dancing styles. There will be opportunities for instruction in other partnered dances throughout the evening along with popular line dances. Come wearing your favorite dressy, casual, or vintage attire. There is free parking on the street and in the large lot on the east side of the El Riad.

It’s not too soon to think about Christmas trees. There are so many minute details to fuss over, so head down to the Festival of Trees in the Expo building at the fairgrounds during the next Sioux Empire Arts and Crafts show. This event will feature Christmas trees and wreaths decorated and donated by area businesses. Attendees will be able to vote for and bid on all the trees and wreaths. Veterans Day Program

The Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce’s Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, in partnership with local veterans’ organizations will host keynote speaker Brig. Gen. Damian T. Donahoe, US Army Ret., as well as a mass colors presentation. The Veterans Day program is free and open to the public.

A Motown Christmas

A Motown Christmas features a vocal group, assembled from past and present members of Motown's most legendary groups: Ali Woodson’s Temptations, The Miracles and The Contours. The vocalists are backed up by a 6-piece band. A Motown Christmas is a family-oriented show combining Motown’s greatest hits with holiday classics.
