Haunted Farm

Haunted Farm is South Dakota's most secluded haunted attraction, featuring two thrilling experiences: the Haunted Barn and the Haunted Woods. Visitors can also take a break from the scares with a hayride. Tickets are priced at $25, and both cash and cards are accepted. Since much of the event takes place outdoors, attendees should dress warmly for the cold weather and wear shoes suitable for muddy conditions. The experience lasts up to two hours, and there is an indoor heated Snack Shack available for refreshments. Open every Friday and Saturday in October.

Festival of Bands

Sioux Falls will strike up the bands Saturday as host of the 37th Annual Festival of Bands, USA. This year’s Festival of Bands will feature bands from across the region participating in parade and field competition as well as South Dakota State University's Pride of the Dakotas marching band in exhibition performance.
Fall Fest at The Bridges

Fall Fest at The Bridges will take place on October 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a variety of promotions and activities in a lovely outdoor setting. Families can enjoy a petting zoo from Finny Mini Farms, a pop-up pumpkin patch from Roger's Country Produce, and face painting at Child's Play Toys. Additionally, horse-drawn wagon rides from McCrossan's Boys Ranch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can also participate in a Pack Walk, sample cupcakes from Oh My Cupcakes!, and explore a flower cart from The Bouquet Bar.

The 13th Annual Kilts for Kids fundraising event benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Dakota is upon us.
