SDQHA Annual Social & Banquet

Join the South Dakota Quarter Horse Association for our annual social and banquet. The social will take place on January 10 at the Casey Tibbs Center in Ft. Pierre, starting at 7:00 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the 2024 SDQHA Honorees and hear about their history, including their beginnings, family influences, and the horses in their program. Refreshments will be available for a free-will donation. The banquet, held on January 11 at the Ramkota Inn, will honor HS and Pro rodeo greats, ranchers, promoters, breeders, show and performance trainers, and year-end award winners. The event will also feature several state and national dignitaries.

K9 Root Beer Keg Races

Calling all K9s. Join us for the 3rd Annual Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation K9 Root Beer Keg Races. Each participating dog will be categorized into weight classes and will wear a harness attached to an appropriately sized root beer keg to pull past a designated finish line. We will time each dog, and the fastest dog in each class will win. No registration is required.

During the evening social, the Retailers Association will present its annual Retailer of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, and Community Service award winners.
