Advances in precision equipment improve efficiency and productivity. As farmers look to target the best ways to precisely place needed chemicals where they can do the most good, companies with drones are stepping up.
Instead of applying treatments across an entire field, drones can pinpoint problem areas, increasing efficiency and minimizing waste. And they can do much more.
The annual report for drone company DJI Agriculture highlighted the phenomenal growth and impact of drones in agriculture. Figures indicated that at the end of 2023, more than 300,000 agricultural drones were in use in more than 100 countries and regions.
