Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc.’s top executive says extending parking meter enforcement will create millions in economic stimulation.
After City Hall this week shared that plans are on track to charge for metered street parking on evenings and Saturdays starting next year, officials have faced some criticism online and on social media from people warning fewer people would choose to visit downtown on evenings and weekends if forced to pay for parking.
But DTSF President Joe Batcheller doesn’t see it that way.
