City Hall consultant unveils options for convention center campus
The iconic Sioux Falls Arena could house a “vertical adventure” park with climbing walls and monster slides and all manner of things to crawl around on, city councilors were told Tuesday.
Or, it could be additional space for in-demand youth and adult sports like volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Or, it could be torn down to make room for a new fieldhouse-style facility.
Whatever the option, decisions are looming because the guts of the 60-year-old metal fortress have serious, age-related problems.
