Minnehaha County auditor says political activism doesn't compromise impartiality
The top election official in South Dakota’s largest county gathered nominating signatures for a candidate in the upcoming GOP primary.
A review of public campaign documents filed by Republican candidates running for Minnehaha County Commission by The Dakota Scout found county auditor Leah Anderson collected signatures for Roger Russell, a Sioux Falls realtor who’s one of four GOP hopefuls on the June 4 primary ballot.
