Board of Regents commits funding to initiative, BHSU hiring director
A narrow lack of legislative support over the past two years won’t be the end of an idea to create a civics education center on the campus of Black Hills State University.
The South Dakota Board of Regents this month committed money from their general budget to help develop the “Black Hills State University Center for Civic Engagement” on the campus of the Spearfish university, where lawmaker Scott Odenbach has attempted to get funding for the campus project over the course of his last term in the Legislature.
