Grand Prairie Foods alleges it wasn't paid for egg shipments
A Sioux Falls food company is alleging that a counterpart in Wisconsin is wrongfully withholding more than $500,000 that it is owed for egg shipments.
Grand Prairie Foods agreed in September to ship two truckloads of conventional and cage-free chicken eggs per week to Echo Lake Foods in Burlington, Wisconsin, a lawsuit filed Friday alleges. According to its web site, Echo Lake is a frozen food company that produces precooked egg entrees, French toast, dinner rolls, waffles, pancakes and precooked scrambled and diced eggs.
