Auditor: Discrepancies found during Minnehaha County audit wouldn't have swung elections
County Auditor Leah Anderson says official audit reports to be sent to SOS Wednesday evening
The top election official in Minnehaha County is reporting discrepancies between a hand count of more than 13,000 ballots cast in the June 4 primary and vote totals tallied by tabulating machines.
But County Auditor Leah Anderson told The Dakota Scout Wednesday that variations found during Tuesday’s 11-hour post-election audit were not significant enough to impact the outcome of any election conducted in the county.
