Another liquor license windfall awaits Sioux Falls City Hall
Sealed bid process used last year captured more than $1 million
If last summer’s Sioux Falls liquor license auction that brought more than a million dollars to city coffers is any indicator, another round of six-figure checks are headed to City Hall next week.
The city of Sioux Falls last month opened applications for two new on-sale liquor licenses made available by the South Dakota Department of Revenue. And that means big money in the state’s largest municipality.
