Second time in eight days Sioux Falls City Council delays vote on overbudget contract
An emergency meeting of the Sioux Falls City Council later this week is the product of friction between councilors and City Hall, a fast-approaching bid deadline and a procedural hiccup.
Councilors on Tuesday, during a meeting held jointly with the Minnehaha County Commission, once again opted not to take a scheduled vote on a proposed contract for a new clubhouse and youth golf complex at a city-owned golf course in northwest Sioux Falls.
