Orange road construction alerts will again come out of hibernation next spring to the tune of more than $200 million worth of street projects in Sioux Falls.
That’s how much Sioux Falls City Hall and the state of South Dakota will combine to spend on major overhauls to some of the most trafficked commuter points in the city’s sprawling transportation network in the new year.
Sioux Falls Public Works Director Mark Cotter told The Dakota Scout ahead of the Christmas holiday that 2025 will bring to fruition some long-planned, high-need projects spurred by continued growth both in the city and Sioux Falls’ neighboring communities.
